Gee, Thanks! 5 Things Our HoneyBaked Ham Douglasville Crew is Thankful For This Year

Thanksgiving is often a time of family, food and fun (oh, and football too).

It's also when we're asked which thing or things we are most thankful for this year.

Here are 5 things our HoneyBaked Ham Douglasville crew is thankful for this year:

1. We're thankful for family.
We're all where we are today because our parents or guardians raised us. Hopefully we've taken all the positive lessons from them and are applying them to our own lives today. Those of us who are married and have children are definitely thankful for the blessing of family. For those of us on the HoneyBaked team who are single, we're thankful for our parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins.

2. We're thankful for friends.

True friends encourage us, motivate us and continually push us to do better in all aspects of our lives. If you're as grateful for your friends as we are, don't forget to take some time this week to call each of them and thank them for all the great things they've done. You can also show your gratitude by being a great friend to others.

3. We're thankful for a home.
No matter the size or location, each of us has a house... and for that we are eternally thankful for such a cozy place to rest and relax. Hopefully your residence is also a place of safety and encouragement. A great way to show how much you are thankful for your humble abode is by supporting organizations that help those who have no permanent place to call home.

4. We're thankful for nourishment.
In addition to being blessed with our happy homes, we're especially thankful we have the opportunity to eat on a daily basis. If you have plenty to eat as well, don't forget show your gratitute by helping to support agencies that care for the hungry and less fortunate.

5. We're thankful for HoneyBaked Ham Douglasville .
Our tradition continues year after year because patrons like you love how quick and easy Thanksgiving dinner can be simply by incorporating a little HoneyBaked love into it. At HoneyBaked Ham Douglasville we've always been proud to be a family tradition for nearly 30 years now... and we know some of the best memories are specifically created during the holidays!

While we've been selling our HoneyBaked turkey for more than two decades, this year we've reformulated our product and our new recipe is more tender and flavorful than ever! For more details about our gourmet products CLICK HERE now or stop by and visit us today.

Here's wishing you a wonderful day of giving thanks from our family to yours!

What a Dish-covery! 4 Out-Of-This-World HoneyBaked Ham Dishes Worth Trying

At HoneyBaked Ham Douglasville we may be well-known for our holiday entrees and our superb lunch selection, but we're special in other ways too (did you know?!).

For example, we have wonderful catered lunch delivery options... and we even have a huge selection of hassle-free heat & serve sides everyone at the dinner table is sure to enjoy!

Here are 4 of our favorite out-of-this-world dishes worth trying for a PDQ (pretty darn quick) dinner spread everyone will swear you made yourself... from scratch!

1. Heat & Serve Sides Broccoli Rice Casserole
If you're the head chef at your household, you may also concede that you can't just serve up meat alone to your family at suppertime. We usually need to prepare a veggie and a starch option too, right? Well here's a great way to roll the two into one--with our hearty Broccoli Rice Casserole. It'll save you time in the kitchen and bring a smile to everyone's face at the dinner table!

2. Heat & Serve Sides: Sweet Potato Souffle
Serving up spuds for a meal can sometimes be the most daunting part of cooking... because they seem to take so long to prepare. Well here's an easy way out that's oh-so-delicious: our Sweet Potato Souffle. Simply heat, serve and enjoy the buttery cinnamon flavors of whipped yams sprinkled with brown sugar, walnuts & pecans. Mmmmmmm!

3. Decadent Desserts: Red Velvet Cake
There's an old legend out there that says Red Velvet Cake originated from the ever-famous Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York (it was a chef's special recipe). As the recipe leaked into the public across the U.S. during the 1920s, it made its way to the hands of our culinary experts at HoneyBaked Ham...and now this boldly colored indulgence can be the star at your dinner table without headaches of baking all day and carefully icing it afterward. That in itself is a terrific treat (aside from a big slice of our moist Red Velvet Cake), wouldn't you agree?!

4. Decadent Desserts: Cheesecake Sampler
We know it's hard to please everyone at the dinner table, especially when it comes to satisfying the sweet tooth of every family member. That's why our Cheesecake Sampler is an ideal dessert-- Each whole, creamy delight features 4 rich & silky types of cheesecake to choose from: Hot Fudge, Strawberry Swirl, Turtle & Traditional Vanilla (Turtle is our favorite)!

So there you have it... 4 of our products you should definitely sink your teeth into (if you haven't tried them already). Your taste buds will thank you, and so will your dinner attendees!
